This is a ‘hands on’ microscope session. We will begin by looking at a section of mammalian gut to identify basic tissue types and its cellular organisation. We will relate structure to function where appropriate and try and appreciate the 3D morphology from our 2D section. There will be an opportunity to study sections of testis and other organs. Help will be given to set up microscopes. No prior knowledge required.
