Lecture: Lunar geology from the safety of your own home - BNSS

Event date: 14th May 2019 at: 7.30pm

Speaker; Barry Fitz-Gerald

The Moon has been one of Barry’s specialities; he has in-depth knowledge of what we’re looking at. All this is available to you, as the various lunar orbiters allow public access to their data. The Moon has a complex geological (selenological) history, much of which is evident from the very high resolution pictures and other data provided by lunar orbiters. We have also found out a lot from Apollo samples.
