Professor Fred Charles of Bournemouth University will consider the growth of computer games and e-sports, the potential of e-sports as an Olympic sport, its very high prize money, the sponsorship of competitions and teams and their support, and the various roles associated with e-sports such as journalism, commentators, and competition organiser, as well as the degree courses associated with computer games and e-sports, and the National Research centre for computer animation.

Professor Fred Charles, Head of Department of Creative Technology at Bournemouth University, is leading the E-Sports from the National Centre for Computer Animation (NCCA), developing courses and industry collaboration. He has been teaching Games Programming and Games Design at University level for the last 25 years.
