Speakers: Adam Button and Ben Painter

Adam Button, together with his colleague Ben Painter, will inform us about the biology of leeches, the breeding project, and some of their current uses in medicine. Adam is an experienced invertebrate keeper at the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland, and is part of the conservation team at HIghland Wildlife Park. He has been involved in a conservation breeding programme to establish new populations in Scotland’s lochs.
