Speaker: Dr Laetitia Gunton
Marine invertebrates make up around 92% of life in our oceans, they are exceptionally diverse with fascinating body plans and life histories. The BNSS houses an intriguing selection of marine invertebrate specimens, each with its own story to tell.
Dr Gunton’s specialty is marine invertebrates and she has taught at the Universities of Portsmouth and Southampton. She has worked in museums in the UK and Australia and led international research groups, and is currently volunteering at the BNSS museum.
