Speaker Jo Hedger

Jo (Josephine) Hedger, founder and Director of Arbor Venture Tree Care, based close to the New Forest, will discuss her experiences as an arborist and her journey to becoming a five times World Tree Climbing Champion. Jo will discuss the type of work she carries out to look after trees in her day to day job as an arborist, and what important roles trees have to our wellbeing and wildlife. Jo will look back at her climbing career as a champion tree climber and explain how traveling the world to compete in tree climbing competitions has changed the way she works with trees and share her experiences over the last 15 years.
