Join Kate Earl and James Fradgley for a relaxed walk along the promenade between Bournemouth and Boscombe piers, where we will walk the Solar System to scale. Kate will show models and digital images along the way, stopping at the relative location of the planets to hear a
little bit more about each of them. We will end at the conveniently named Neptune Bar, where we can pause for a quick drink (please bring your own money) before returning back the way we came. The ground is concreted and flat on the promenade. Please note this is effectively a 3-mile walk, as the walk between the piers one-way is 1.5 miles exactly. Unfortunately, the land train and bus services between the piers stop earlier in the day, therefore those of you wishing to do the walk one-way will require a taxi to get you back where you started from.

Meet outside the entrance to the pier arcade facing north. Nearest parking is either the Bath Road South or Bath Road North car parks. Walk starts at 7.00pm
