Iguanodon Trackway
Trackways form when dinosaurs walk on moist soil or mud that hardens or when heavy animals compress soft surfaces, preserving footprints over time. These can reveal movement, speed and how many legs they are using. Also behaviour and whether the dinosaur is part of a herd can be determined. Some footprints even preserve details like skin or muscle impressions, offering richer insights than bones alone.
