Speaker: Steve Roberts

Steve Roberts, a local historian and author, will talk about the history of the Ringwood to Christchurch railway or Hurn branch. Steve will give us a ‘Journey Down the Line’ on the Hurn branch with all the intermediate stops included. Steve’s talks are always entertaining and informative, and we will hear about some of the characters involved in building the line including engineers, stationmasters and a Lord.
