Speaker: Kevin Patience

Kevin qualified as a diver while serving in the RAF. He researched and discovered aircraft and shipwrecks while serving in Malta and Cornwall. In 1977, Kevin began a career as a commercial diver in the oilfields of Saudi Arabia and latterly as a ship salvage specialist, based in Bahrain. He has received two naval literary prizes and a French honour. This talk is about his unusual hobby that became a full-time job in an extremely hazardous environment.
