Speaker: Hattie Miles

Hattie Miles will tell the remarkable stories of Bournemouth heroes and heroines from WWI and WW2, some surprising stories from the Victorian era and another that brings us right up to the present day. Hattie Miles was the first woman photographer on the Bournemouth Daily Echo and worked there for 24 years, but for the past twelve years has been a busy freelance. Her knowledge of Bournemouth is quite unique and her walkingtalks aim to share her enthusiasm for the area and some of its history and hidden stories. Hattie often works with her husband, the writer Jeremy Miles, to write & photograph features that are published nationally and locally.
