Naval Auxiliay A135 (RFA Argus) was regularly seen recently in Bournemouth Bay. She was built in 1981 and is still in service. Join us to hear about Life in this amazing ship, with a fascinating history, including being requisitioned for the Falklands Wars, set up with intensive care medical facilities, active in the Bosnia, Kosovo and Gulf wars: assisted in the Caribbean with the Covid outbreaks, in West Africa with the Ebola outbreaks, and in addition helping following various disasters, took part in the capture of pirates and of drug trafficking.
